scroll down to survey or read editors note below
in 1995 when i was the co-chair of the arts and culture caucus for the UN social summit i ask is art important and why? what is the social value of the arts? - and i wonder what life would be like with out art?? - and in sept 11, 2001 while filming the sinking of the titanic II the twin towers of the world trade center from my terrace i found an answer at least for me - "art makes sense of things that don't make sense" and that "art is about caring for our individual and collective imagination"... fast forward backwards to 1998 i was curious how can we make creativity, the creative spirit, like the religious spirit more understood, valued and integrated into society and out of that question came the birth of the the artist to artist survey (jan 21-2007)

artist to artist survey - as a recovering artist at the end of this century (1999) and looking forward to the new millenium with an interest in the courage to be creative... i created this survey to challenge myself, you and the status-quo... and to share with you my thoughts and thought-provoking questions in the survey on your own creativity. my fellow artist as well as you who are about to become artist, in whatever you do, this survey also invites you to take a voyage into yourself. in time, maybe your response will add relevant value to artists, and others in exploring and encouraging creativity in all that we do in whatever aspects of society... let's make the 21 century more creative and more humane

directions -sort of
oh yes if you press send at end of survey it does work...
